Rules of Play
– Competition is based on who can shoot the most skeets on the 100-shot sporting clays course at the Flying Rabbit, Harrisonburg, VA. Any gauge shotgun may be used.
– Individuals and teams of four may enter. All denominations are welcome.
– Play may take place anytime during normal business hours, 10 A.M.—dusk, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, October 4-6. Team members do not need to play together but must declare their team name at time of play.
– Team score awards are made up of four declared people. If a team is short-handed, they will be given a “dummy score” of 15 for each missing member. (Example: a team of three will tally the three scores plus 15 to make up a full four-person team score.)
– Individuals and teams may play as many rounds as they wish to better their score but only one whole card (or set) will be used. Individuals and teams may not combine best station scores from several cards into one. Also, they may not rearrange (add/subtract) team members after a round is played.
– Team members must declare a team name/church/denomination for scoring.
– Individuals should declare a church affiliation for overall scoring.
– In the case of ties for best, place, show and conscientious objector, a random method of appointing winners will be employed.
